“You are the light of the world”
Are sounding, if a little overzealous, anthem in a show that earns the same description. I had the joy of singing it with full abandon in my only performance outing with the Columbia Musical Theatre Society (a group for which I otherwise served as Treasurer for two years). As an ensemble show through and through, our production of Godspell was received as a wild but indisputably joyful occasion.
My only regret: not keeping the pigeon shirt.
"I doubt if I will ever witness a funnier theatrical moment than Joel Meyers (CC ’21) angrily doing the worm during the parable of the prodigal son."
