A group of minimally talented actors working on the ship discover that a powerful Hollywood agent is onboard, and embark on a doomed journey to impress him with a production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

While set to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August of 2020, production of Bard Overboard was postponed twice due to COVID-19. However, during the spring of 2021, an online one-act play entitled Bard Overboard: A Global Pandemic Holiday Special was released for TheSpaceUK, featuring characters from the original live show.
